Digital Communications Manager (FTC 12 Months)

Location: Warwickshire

Salary: £30,000k p.a.

The Digital Communications Manager will work closely with the Senior Marketing team to develop the digital marketing strategy and to lead the day to day management of the digital channels. 

Key areas of expertise: social media management, e-mail marketing, website management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading the day to day management of all digital channels.

  • Support development and delivery of plans for digital activity, working collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders.

  • Optimise existing content and write new news content for all departments for the website and social media.

  • Demonstrate good consumer understanding and insight within digital activity and work to deliver a simplified and improved consumer journey and user experience on all digital channels.

  • Project management of larger updates working with internal colleagues and external agencies.    

  • Regular report the effectiveness of all digital communications and produce reports on results of KPIs (in relation to website, social media, CRM, advertising).

  • Work with external agencies (social, media buying, web dev).

  • Budget management, forecasting and tracking.

  • Manage junior digital marketing assistant within team.

  • Keep up to date with competitor and industry activity always looking for new digital trends and how to adapt processes more efficiently.

  • Lead the creation of social media strategy and ensure all content is created and maintained effectively.

  • Manage the creation and deployment of all emails and SMS ensuring a robust CRM journey is in place for key customer types.

Key Skills:

  • Experience of successfully managing digital channels; in particular websites, social media and CMS.

  • Knowledge and experience of CRM.

  • Experience reviewing digital metrics and making strategic decisions based on data.

  • Agency/supplier management.

  • Innovative and creative thinker.

  • A strong interest in the wider digital world.

  • Knowledge of developing/working with bespoke email systems.
