A leading specialist watch, clock, jewellery and consumer electronic group, Peers Hardy is a major supplier of “own label” watches to many top High Streets fashion chains and also boasts an enviable portfolio of watch brands catering for all ages and tastes.

Leading brands include Henry London, Radley, Ice Watch, Orla Kiely Time, Lola Rose, Halcyon Days, CLUSE, Paul Hewitt and Kahuna, as well as children's watches from Tikkers, Disney and Peppa Pig.

Peers Hardy works closely with its customers to achieve the quality standards that best fit their needs. These, along with Peers Hardy’s own rigorous standards, are then put into place with the company’s manufacturing partners.

The UK HQ, based in the Midlands, provides a comprehensive base for in-house design, own label sales, distribution and after sales service. There are also sales offices and showrooms in Stokenchurch, Buckinghamshire and Hong Kong.

The relationship

Peers Hardy take marketing ownership of multiple watch brands, and therefore generate a significant amount of bespoke content for each product. As a result, the growing business has instructed Heathcote Recruitment Group (formerly ESA Group) on multiple roles across the marketing team over the last 12 months.

The team are therefore pleased to have collaborated with Peers Hardy to search for a Social Media Executive, Content Co-ordinator and Social Media Assistant since 2016 - and are now supporting the hiring managers with additional vacancies across the product and brand teams.

The result

With Peers Hardy leading the watch and clock sector in the UK, finding relevant candidates with exposure to similar sectors posed a challenge. However, our consultants uncovered digitally-savvy candidates within the required salary bracket, who had a genuine interest in fashion and watch products.

Within two weeks, candidates were screened and interviews were arranged following an in-depth client briefing.
